Stanley Ray McCutcheon
ODESSA - Stanley Ray McCutcheon departed this world on Friday, March 5, 1999 in a tragic accident.
Mr. McCutcheon was born April 1, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Odessa, Texas, a graduate of Permian High School in 1979 and was still a Mojo fan. He also attended North Texas State, Odessa College and The University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
Mr. McCutcheon was a member of the Christian Church of Odessa. Mr.McCutcheon married Patricia Williams on December 3, 1988 and became a father to two beautiful children since that time. He loved life and all of the good things that are related to family and relatives.
He was a good, loving husband and father. His friends were also very important to him and he was always ready for a good, friendly competitive game of golf with any of them.
Mr. Stanley Ray McCutcheon will be terribly missed and certainly never, never forgotten.
Services are under the direction of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home and will be held at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home Monday, March 8, 1999 at 2 p.m. The Revs. J.R. McCutcheon and Clark B. Racca will be officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McCutcheon; daughter, Carole Josephine McCutcheon; son, Shawn Michael McCutcheon; father, J.R. McCutcheon; sister, Gina McNurleo and husband Rick; sister, Evelina McCutcheon; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Josephine and Billy Williams.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole McCutcheon in 1991.
The family will be receiving visitors from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

On the day of June 24, 2003, our sister, Patricia June Williams McCutcheon, went to the home of our Lord.
Patricia was born on June 15, 1958, in Odessa, Texas, to Billy and Josephine Williams. She graduated from OHS in 1976 and continued her education at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. Patricia received two degrees while at TWU, Bachelors in Business, and Bachelors in Biology. She returned to Odessa after graduating in 1984 and worked for Texas Workforce Commission for 12 years.
Patricia married Stanley Ray McCutcheon on December 3, 1988, in Odessa. Together they had two children, Carole and Shawn McCutcheon. The children were her pride and joy. She loved them dearly.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, Stanley Ray McCutcheon; her parents, Josephine Perez Williams and Billy Mack Williams Sr.; and her mother-in-law, Carole McCutcheon.
She is survived by her children, Carole Josephine McCutcheon, and Shawn Michael McCutcheon; her brother, Billy Mack Williams Jr. from Venus, Texas; sisters, Sheila Williams and fiancé, Jason Jackson, and Deloris Williams; father-in-law, J.R. and Patricia McCutcheon; her sisters-in-law, Gina and Evalina McCutcheon, all of Odessa; uncle, Arnold Perez of San Angelo; many cousins; and her special dog, Candy.
The family would send special thanks and appreciation to all the staff at Seabury Nursing Center. Also very special thanks to our families, friends, and doctors who helped Patricia throughout her life.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2003 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jason Jackson, Tom Johnson, Clark Rocca, Jim Oliver, Johnathan Willis and Oscar Perez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Ayers, Wes Surber and Ronnie Perez (in Iraq).
Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Stan was a pain in the ass BUT you had to love him. He will be missed!

I was living in Big Spring for a while and heard about Stan's death, Oddly enough, I didn't realize that it was actually Stan from PHS until my mother sent me the clipping. . I think I have it somewhere still, but... He was working on some sort of boiler at the State Hospital in Big Spring. It blew up and killed him and maybe one other person. I was sad that I had heard the news and didn't put the name and person together. If I come across the clipping, I'll post it.
