I was saddened to read that Tony had passed away. I met Tony the summer before we were all sophomores at Permian. We first met at the UTPB swimming pool. We would have "tanning contests" to see who could get the darkest and best looking tan. He and I would laugh and tell corny jokes. Tony was so funny - a wonderful, sweet-spirited guy with a sensational personality. He could always cheer up someone.
Tony, I'm glad you are no longer suffering and thank you for being one of my dear friends.
Love,
Vanda

Tony was a good friend of mine, funny and caring. I first met him in elementary at Gonzales, where he was the chubby kid...he moved away, and came back to attend Nimitz and Permian. For a year or so we were almost next-door neighbors, and spent a lot of time together.

Tony was at our ten year reunion, and I was so happy to see him again then and we had such a great time...I only wish I could see him again at the upcoming reunion.

Tony, you are a brave soul, and I have only admiration for you...I will see you again, my friend, just don't know when.

Love to you

Emily
