September 20-21, 2019 Homecoming Weekend
We are hoping you can join us for Homecoming weekend where we will enjoy laughs and love, catching up and making memories, and above all, enjoying each other again, 40 years down the road!
For all of us out of towners, there is a block of rooms being held for our class on a first come, first served basis at Courtyard by Marriott, 7241 Tres Hermanas Blvd (off 191), 432-563-1400. Rooms will be $119 and will include a breakfast coupon. Thank you to Lauri Farber for getting us such a great deal on the hotel rooms and to Barbie Smith for her help in gathering information to help make this reunion a successful one! Thank you to all who have helped in ways big and small to get this reunion off the ground!

Please note regarding pricing and payment. This is very important. The site we use allows us to utilize credit cards for payment. This is great because most of us use cards for purchasing most everything. However, they charge for the priviledge of using those cards. SO, I have added the expense of using the card to the base price each event/item on the registration. I anticipate that most folks will utilize the credit card option available for payment. Those payments will go directly into the class bank account for use in paying the costs associated with this reunion. Pep rally at Permian. Arrive by 8:15. We will be sitting as a group for the pep rally and we will have a group picture taken after. Principal Gex will also tweet out our attendance on the MOJO twitter account. Updated information! Donuts are being provided, courtesy of our friend and classmate (also 1979 golf team captain and 3 time letterman) Kyle Chandler!
MOJO items will be available for purchas at the Panter Den!!!!
Pre-game meet and greet tailgate at Ratliff Stadium (N. Grandview Ave. and E. Yukon Rd.) - Tailgate will be on the North side of the stadium parking lot against the fence - time 5:00. If you are bringing chairs, tables, or ice chests, please arrive a little early. Tailgate activity includes burgers, dogs, chips, sides, desserts, and soda. If you have not replied to me about your selection of burger or hot dog and registered for this event, PLEASE message me ASAP! Thank you to Glenn Bowhay for his enormous help in coordinating this event and to the local classmates who are bringing chairs, tables, ice chests, and side dishes! Remember, if you don't bring a chair, you don't sit! Bags of ice and side dishes still needed. Cost is $10 per person.
*The Booster Club Cargo Trailer will be at Ratilff selling panther gear! Open around 5:00 - 5:15 until start of game, reopens after!
Ticket to homecoming game - We are ordering football tickets in advance and will sit together. Tickets purchased will be passed out at the tailgate but if you cannot make the tailgate but want to attend the game, your tickets will be at the WILL CALL window with your name on them. Cost is $8.50 per person.
Homecoming mums and garters - Mark Knox Flowers has created a keepsake silk mum and garter for individual purchase. Please see the Homecoming Items link for more information. Cost for mum (bottom item) is $69 and garter (top item) is $37.
After game wrap up for those who don't want to stop visiting at location to be determined.

Tour of Permian - 9 am. Meet in the lobby of PHS by the panther. Panther Den will be open for shopping!
Lunch as a group for whoever wants to join us - 11:00 at Rosas. I have contacted Bobby Cox's office (I used to babysit his kids) and Karen has reserved the back room of Rosa's for us!
Saturday Night Reunion Event at Barn Door South 40 - 2140 Andrews Highway - Dinner and Dancing
What you can bring (besides yourself and your great memories to share) - pictures or memorabilia and your dancing shoes.
Evening includes dinner, music, dancing, and a guaranteed good time! Cost per person which includes dinner, venue cost and expenses, bartender, DJ/vendor costs, photo booth, and decorations is $65 per person.
Dinner is Buffet Style
